• Carpal Tunnel Release Recovery
If non-surgical carpal tunnel syndrome treatment fails to alleviate pain or if the carpal tunnel syndrome worsens, causing the muscles in the wrist to actually get smaller, surgery to release the nerves and tendons may be necessary. This procedure is often known as carpal tunnel release.
  • Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral palsy refers to a neurological disorder that begins in infancy or early childhood and impacts muscle tone, motor skills, and movement coordination. While these symptoms are permanent, they won’t worsen over time. There is no cure for cerebral palsy, but treatment can significantly improve a child’s quality of life.
  • Cervical or Neck Pain
Pain in the neck (a.k.a cervical pain) is extremely common and can occur as a result of a number of disorders and conditions, including degenerative disc disease, neck strain, whiplash, or a pinched nerve. It also can occur as a result of an infection or muscle condition.
  • Cervical Spondylosis Without Myelopathy
Cervical spondylosis occurs when age-related degeneration of the discs and vertebrae in the neck cause the discs to thin and the vertebrae to develop small, rough edges. While this is a normal process of aging, cervical spondylosis can irritate the surrounding muscles, ligaments, and nerves, causing neck pain.
  • Cervicalgia
Cervicalgia (neck pain) can range from mild discomfort to sharp pain in the neck, upper back, or shoulder region. Cervicalgia causes include whiplash, muscle strain, ligament sprain, swelling, bulging disc, pinched nerve, and degenerative disc disease. Poor posture also can cause cervicalgia.
  • Clavicle Fracture
The clavicle (collarbone) connects the arm to the body and is located between the sternum (rib cage) and the scapula (shoulder blade). Most clavicle fractures occur in the middle of the clavicle, although some fractures may occur where the clavicle connects to the rib cage or shoulder blade.
  • Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate
When an infant’s lip and/or mouth does not properly form in utero, he or she may develop a cleft lip and/or palate. These orofacial clefts are one of the most common forms of birth defects in the US.
  • Chondromalacia
When the cartilage that that covers the ends of the bones inside a joint softens and wears down, it is no longer able to cushion the bones and allow them to glide smoothly across one another. This condition is called chondromalacia.
  • Chondromalacia Patella
In healthy joints, cartilage sits on the ends of the bones to ensure the bones are able to gently slide across one another without causing friction. Chondromalacia patella occurs when the articular cartilage behind the kneecap softens and becomes worn so it can no longer protect the bones.
  • Chronic or Acute Musculoskeletal Pain
Musculoskeletal pain is pain that originates in the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and bones as a result of trauma, overuse, or injury. While the severity of pain will vary based on the cause, most people report feeling achy, pulled muscles, fatigue, and trouble sleeping.
